The Skapones are a 2Tone INSPIRED original Ska band based in the Tees Valley in England.
The group got together back in 2013 to play a music that they all love, and the chaps perform their hot original 2Tone inspired material with the objective of making you think, dance and smile.
WE 'VE GONE AND DONE IT AT LAST!
In our long desire AND SEARCH to have a trombone back in the band, our quest has come to it's end with Skapones New boy BOB FORBES joining us on Trombone! Bob comes with a great music pedigree, skill and possesses a superb tone to the unit and we cannot wait to get him out playing live with us when he's ready in a couple of weeks or so.
So…Everyone say hello to BOB and make him feel welcome!

It is with a heavy heart we announce the departure of Brother Bodsa after a long reign as crew member of the good ship Skapones, after he has decided to take a break from music. We thank him for everything and wish him a happy life. ❤️❤️
But as one door closes, another opens so, please say hello to new brass maestro MARK SYKES!
Mark comes with years of playing experience, been in many bands and has tours of the USA under his belt and has been making great progress in rehearsal.
He will hit the ground running in his first live Skapones show on Saturday 8th November at Specialized The Big One International Ska and Reggae Festival in Hampshire.
